How to use Chain Grinder Pro™
Using the Chain Grinder Pro™ is easy and only takes a few minutes. Follow the steps below for a smooth and precise result.
Step 1 – Attach the tool
Place the Chain Sharpener Pro™ on top of the chainsaw chain. Tighten the locking knobs until the tool is firmly seated against both the chain and the bar.
Step 2 – Adjust the position
Adjust the grinding head so that it aligns correctly with the chain tooth. This ensures that each tooth is ground at the correct angle.
Step 3 – Ensure stability
Make sure the tool is stable and that the support is resting firmly against the chain. A stable position will give a smoother result.
Step 4 – Lock the grinding angle
Adjust the stop or locking mechanism so that the same angle is used for each tooth. This will provide a consistent and professional sharpening.
Step 5 – Sharpen the chain
Turn the handle slowly and in a controlled manner. The grinding head moves smoothly against the tooth, restoring sharpness.
Step 6 – Move to the next tooth
Move the tool to the next tooth and repeat the process until the entire chain is sharpened.
